About me

I’m a writer, teacher and expat based in Melbourne, Australia. Over the past 9 years, I've taught writing in schools, businesses and universities. I've also lived in 4 different countries and often draw on my overseas experiences in my writing.

But for a long time, I was too scared to write anything.

I created The Fearless Writing Guide to share what helped me get started again. If you're a beginner writer or a fellow expat, I hope it will inspire you to start exploring your creativity.

One of the best ways to push through self-doubt is to surround yourself with people who cheer you on.

I’d love to be one of them.

Need some creative courage? Sign up below for your free copy of The Fearless Writing Guide.

You’ll also get my newsletter. Twice a month I’ll send you my latest blog posts as well as writing tips, resources, creative prompts, inspiration and plenty of encouragement to keep you writing. If it’s not for you, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Note: If you don’t get a confirmation email within a few minutes of signing up, check your spam or junk mail folder. You might need to add my email address to your address book so my newsletters don't get filtered in the future.

“All writers, no matter how experienced they are, should have a copy on their shelf so they can refer to these notes as reminders that they must continually learn in order to improve. Such a great instructive and inspirational work.”  - Ray Stone, British author and expat (Cyprus)
